An anxiety disorder disrupts fourteen-year-old Audrey’s daily life. She has been making slow but steady progress with Dr. Sarah, but when Audrey meets Linus, her brother’s gaming teammate, she is energized. She connects with him. Audrey can talk through her fears with Linus in a way she’s never been able to do with anyone before. As their friendship deepens and her recovery gains momentum, a sweet romantic connection develops, one that helps not just Audrey but also her entire family.

This story is kinda funny and cute! At first I find Audrey as a weird person as she wears black eyeglasses everytime this is because staring at other people (including her family) straight to their eyes makes her feel anxious. Really weird right? And it’s really cute that when she met Linus, her brother’s gaming teammate, she feels like she can be herself. Tell him everything she wants because Linus is the type of guy who doesn’t judge.

There are a lot of things that we fear for some reasons. We fear that other people may judge us the way we look or the way we talk. Those things should not limit us to a lot of things we wanna do. I mean, life’s too short so talk to everyone. Make friends. Travel the world. Take lots of pictures. Do everything while you still can. All you need is to take a deep breath and have courage in everything you do.

And eventually you will find someone whom you have to share all the great things that’s happening to you. Someone you can talk anything to and won’t judge you. Life’s meant to be lived that way. After all, that’s what we signed up for. 😉
